Patent Reform: The Second Wave hosted by IP Counsel Cafe

Mr. Shah was invited to "Patent Reform: The Second Wave", hosted by IP Counsel Cafe, to present on Standards and the Continual Evolution of Fair Reasonable and Non-Discriminatory (FRAND) terms.  Mr. Shah discussed the Innovatio litigation involving patent infringement assertions related to Standard Essential Patents (SEPs). Other panelists included Michael Lee, senior director of IP strategy, marketplace and policy for Cisco Systems; Earl Nied, program director of standards and IPR for Intel Corp.; and John Jurata, Orrick Antitrust and Competition Group Partner.
