WHO WE ARE

A top-tier, full service IP law firm based in Silicon Valley. We use a unique patent process designed for close collaboration with in-house counsel and inventors to develop a high quality patent portfolio aligned with client strategy.

WHAT WE DO

We maintain a claim-centric perspective from the start to the end of the patent application process. By focusing on the claims from the very first invention disclosure meeting, we generate accurate, powerful patents that drill deep into the core novelty.

CONSULTATIONS

We take the time to understand your specific goals and help define an intellectual property strategy to meet those goals.

EXPERIENCE

Our experience includes serving the intellectual property needs of a multitude of tech companies ranging from the Fortune 100 to Silicon Valley startups, both from a law firm perspective and an in-house perspective.

EFFICIENCY

We have restructured the traditional law firm billing model by providing package, flat-fee pricing. Our clients enjoy predictable costs and avoid review of line items for minor legal tasks.

NATIONAL RECOGNITION - WALL STREET JOURNAL

Prior to founding Invoke, Principal Mr. Shah served as the Global Head of Intellectual Property development at Aruba Networks. At Aruba Networks, Mr. Shah took over prosecution of the entire Aruba Networks patent portfolio and drafted claims for all patent applications (specification & figures drafted by in-house patent counsel and outside counsel). The results included obtaining issuance of 40 powerful patents (286% of the preceding year's 14 issued patents) and filing 107 new patent applications (255% of the preceding year's 42 new patent applications).  The Wall Street Journal recognized the patent program created by Mr. Shah. Referring to the Telecom & Communications Industry Scorecard published by The Patent Board, WSJ noted: “...Aruba Networks Inc had the largest increase in [patent] rank, 22 spots to now rank 36th due to an increase in both patents and impact.”
